Common Questions & Answers
What is FogSafe, and how does it work?
The FogSafe security system rapidly fills a room with a dense fog to significantly obscure visibility, making it difficult for intruders to navigate or steal valuables. When triggered by an alarm or remote activation, the system releases a harmless, dense fog within seconds, deterring intruders and preventing theft.
Can FogSafe be integrated with my existing security system?
Yes, FogSafe can seamlessly integrate with most existing alarm systems. It will automatically be activated when the alarm is triggered. It can also function as a standalone system with remote activation options available through the online ActiveCloud platform or a panic button.
Can FogSafe be used in any type of environment?
Yes, the FogSafe security system is highly versatile and effective, making it suitable for various types of environments including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and residential areas.
Is FogSafe safe for humans, pets, and electronics?
Yes, the fog is made from a food-grade formula that leaves no residue and is completely safe for humans, pets, and electronics.
How long does the protective fog last, and how quickly does it fill the room?
The fog can last up to one hour depending on the room’s size and ventilation. It typically fills a standard-sized room within seconds, creating an immediate barrier that reduces visibility to near-zero.
Does the system require maintenance or service?
With the ActiveCloud monitoring platform, maintenance is minimal, typically only requiring the recommended annual replacement of the liquid fog container to ensure optimal performance.
How long does each liquid fog container last?
The number of activations depends on the deployment duration, which is manually set. On average, each liquid fog container can provide up to 3 full activations before needing replacement.
